Today I caught the Subway out to Harvard University. What a beautiful campus!! And the village is really quaint too.I took my photograph standing next to John Harvard!!The grounds are beautifully kept, with green lawns surrounding the walkways, fringed by Cherry Blossoms, which lead to all the lecture halls which are housed in grand buildings. What an impressive campus. After walking around campus I strolled around the village and sat to enjoy the beautiful sunshine with a cup of coffee before heading back underground.I made my way across town to Boston Common.Again making the most of the sunshine and enjoying the great outdoors.I walked all through the common appreciating the beautiful gardens, water features and monuments. From Boston common to Newbury street and Copley Square runs the Commonwealth Avenue Mall, which is a pedestrian walkway lined with trees and benches.A really great walk.I stopped off at H&M on Newbury street and tried on a few items, but made no purchases. Before heading back to the hotel I went to the Prudential building where they have a viewing deck on the 50th floor. The Skywalk Observatory has awe inspiring, breathtaking panoramic views of Boston and surrounds!!I really recommend taking a look!!!
