Hi another days cruising, you may think this can get dull. You couldn't be more wrong, every minute of the day the sea changes. Today is flat calm hot but cloudy. Played more bridge today and
also loafed about in the sun. As the days go on we are getting to know more passengers. Today I will mention Dan and Josie both about 23 and travelling back to Uk having lived in Aus for 15 months. They are a good laugh and constantly falling asleep In the sun and getting burned. Both are covered in tattoos and at first flush look a bit 'wild' but when you talk to them they are really good fun down to earth and sensible. In fact Josie is worried about going home as her mum has not seen her body art and she says she will go mad. They also feel a bit vulnerable to the searches because of their appearance but have not been searched yet.
Drugs update: you will hardly believe this. About 4 pm today we are alone in the sea north of Australia and south of Java when an Australian air force plane buzzed along our port side at about 100m then buzzed starboard side at the same height then looped around and flew port to starboard and back again. It was so low it was ridiculous and it was seriously loud. The best bit was that I've never seen so many oldies move so quick. Some rushing onto deck to see what was happening, others rushing below to hide under a table like some ww2 throwback. Once the plane bugged out the gossip started anyone would think we were going to be bombed. Maybe we were!!! You can't make it up. Aussies, give then a couple of second hand RAF planes next thing you know they are terrorising the over 60's on a cruise ship.
Tonight is another James Bond night getting to like dressing up. It looks quite impressive When everyone dresses up. All wondering around sipping cocktails and talking nonsense. The usual really.
After dinner were were marched around the promenade by Joyce. It was hot enough at dinner all dressed up but when you go outside onto the prom deck it's like walking into the path of a hairdryer. A few laps later we slopes off to the Crows Nest bar where the pace was a little slower.

Schminda Great photo! You will have to get this blog made into a book and a film! Happy traveling! X
Viv Ross Well I laughed out loud when I read this one. Tone being dead noisy and wondering what I was laughing at, came plodding to the computer dripping from the shower!!!! I am refering to the plane zipping up all those over 60's (0ldies!!! hummmm). I could imagine the mayhem what a laugh. Sounds like it is all happening on "The Bounty". Glad you have met some good friends. It is a big part of a holiday when you can find some interesting charactors and have a good laugh with them. Looking forward to the next episode. lots of love Vivxxxxxx
