Well we're sad to be leaving Vietnam behind us. The people there are clearly kind and forgiving, especially so of the Americans. Today has been an uneventful day at sea, more bridge classes and the last of the dancing lessons. We have finally decided that it is a hopeless exercise. We have hardly mastered the basic waltz steps only to find out we are way behind on the foxtrot samba and quickstep. The lessons embrace them all so we have had to quit its all too much!
Today's on board update is about packed lunches! On board we are offered food all day from 0700 to 0300 and it's eat as much as you like. As you would imagine after 3 weeks we are pretty much full up. The veteran cruisers take some beating, if we are on a day trip they go to breakfast and eat a large cooked meal. Then they stock up with bottles of fruit juice oranges and bananas for the day. Some even take Danish pastries. You can't believe it, they never seem content.
Tomorrow we are on a day trip into Sihanoukville Cambodia and I am excited as it is supposed to be a more primitive place than Vietnam, should be interesting then. That's all for today short one but all the days at sea are nice but uneventful really.
'till tomorrow........
