re: Luxu, ChinaWendi This is the town we visited near Huang Shan... It is where they filmed part of Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon... But not this part specifically. Nice?
re: photo from 24 January 2010R1SING SUN So I was looking through the pictures. MY GOD YOU DID GET TO PLAY ON ONE OF THOSE GUNDAM COCKPITS YOU LUCKY BRAT. YOU DON'T KNOW HOW LONG I'VE WAITING TO GET INTO ONE OF THOSE MACHINES. Lol at the Assassin's Creed and L4D2 promo. P.S. Ladies are nice.
re: Tokyo, JapanR1SING SUN So I hear you've gone to Japan and back, hmm? So, how crazy were the Japanese? At least equivalent to TV's Patrick Macias' tellings? Commentary: Tokyo Ninja. LOL. Now I think I know where I'm going to stay. Akihabara/Akiba. Tell me you went to at least Animate and Gamers. And lol at the eroge. That's what makes money there! What would all the Japanese NEETs do other than play those games (because 2D girls are better than 3D girls, amirite?). And please, dear God, Kurin, tell me you got to play on one of those friggin' amazing Gundam cockpits in the arcades. Maid Cafes. Wow. 10 meters? That's pretty harsh. Did you get to see the Cosplay Cafes and Butler Cafes too? I'm willing to bet there's a Military Cafe somewhere in that district. BTW, those are hellishly expensive places to eat at. I hear water is like, 500yen. DSi LL. Why would you even bother, Kurin? Like seriously, why? I'd just wait for the new model coming in a year or so. All you Nintendo fanboys are just milking their cash. Also bigger screen = even more pixelated. Enjoy. Envy of Brett. Unfortunately, Kurin, 'tis not so. Should've waited a month for the sakura. Or, gone two months before in December/waited till August to get into Comiket 77/78. Because Japan = 50, 000 sweaty people waiting to get into a dealer's room for 3 hours a day for three days amirite? Should join me in mid August to see the sight. 5th-15th of August. Trip in general. Did you get to go to Shinjuku/Japan's Twin Towers/Tokyo City Hall? Did you just stay in Tokyo? Going to Kyoto (apart from seeing KyoAni's department) and Hiroshima would be pretty cool culturally. Btw, SC2 Beta is starting, though I haven't got a key. And, semester 1 average = 97.5. Bio diploma was really unsatisfactory at 91%, dropping my overall average by 0.25%, and SS was pretty underwhelming too. Though, I hear my 94% is one of the highest in the province. At least I performed in Math 30. Counsellors told me my final mark broke their machines cause it was >100% though. SO THERE IS A LIMIT; AND IT'S NOT THE SKY. Anyway, talk to you on Steam or something. Oh wait, there's seven more days you need to blog about? Oh man, feeling what it takes to be a blogger yet? Why I quit before I started.
re: Tokyo, Japandarci Oh my god I am so envious of you - and so happy that you tow had a dream come true. You will never be the same again. Kurin - do you have a japanese girlfriend yet? It must have been so awesome seeing your old students. Have you talked to Derrick yet? He is probably quite envious too. Too bad you could not have met his japanese family - that would have been cool. Love you and miss you still Darci
re: Tokyo, JapanGlenbow Mom Don't worry you will always be my Glenbow child (although Glenbow may beg to differ), we'll be renewing you shortly...I do read your blogs. Take care, Steph
