This morning I began my day in paradise with Katherine, my Thai yoga instructor. We did some bikram yoga for around an hour where Katherine told me my balance was off because I "had too many kilos in me" - ha!
Following this we had breakfast and waited in our room for a good 20 minutes as we seemed to have broken our door. It took about 3 maintenance people to fix it...! Awkward.
Justin had convinced me to go swimming off the floating jetty. This was not something I was too keen on, given all the coral in the water, but I stepped out of my comfort zone and jumped in... And low and behold - managed to gash my leg on some coral.
Post coral gash, we set off on an adventure in a kayak. The water is crystal clear and you can see the fish :)
Later in the afternoon we decided to go for a walk along the beach and check out the other resorts. This was done at low tide, so you can walk reasonably far out. We found an abandoned beach resort which of course we snooped through (... And they never saw us again). Justin also tried his hand at splitting open a coconut he found on the beach and almost relinquished his chances for children.
The evening was pretty relaxed - dinner in the hotel followed by chilling at the beach on glowing chairs and tables.
A great relaxing day - just what the doctor ordered!
