Well you all have not heard from us for the past week, mainly because we have been so busy and so tired, we simply have not got around to our blog.

So, I am going to catch up, but I will split the blog up, as we want to keep tabs on where we have been.

Our last day in Keszthley was very much about relaxing. But one of the things we wanted to do was take a Segway tour. We have looked at other places in Europe and they are normally astronomical prices, but here in Keszthley they are very reasonably priced.

When we finally got the Allen's out of bed (they were sleeping first class) we had breakfast and made our way down to the shores of the lake where the Segway's were based. It was around 10am, however we had to wait until 11am to hire them. We really could not understand why? We thought they would be hanging out to hire the machines. The girl had no clue what we were talking about, so we went and had coffee in the coffee shop opposite.

Eventually at 11, a guy turned up, and he was a tour leader. We didn't know we had to have a tour leader, we intended driving them around ourselves. It was much safer having a tour leader rather than allowing novices like ourselves drive around on the wrong side of the road on a machine that we haven't got a clue how to work.

In the end it was quite simple, we got some lessons, and off we went. They are great fun. Our half hour tour went very quickly (around half an hour
