Den on the loose
Fiji Day Six
Before we departed to catch the boat back to Nadi we managed to do some snorkelling on a free boat trip out to the littlest island ever probably about 6 metre\'s wide and 4 metres across.
Nevertheless the surrounding ocean around it was beautiful as there was an abundance of large fan coral reef of various colours ranging from white, red, blue to purple.
Snorkelling here was definately the best place for seeing loads of tropical fish and coral reef.
After snorkelling we went to the bar and just chill out till the boat came to pick us up, but while we waited at the bar just sitting and chatting, Alissa who joined us at the table as she didnt go snorkling because she had the mother of all heat blisters on her back fainted after Marta a trained nurse helped her pop it.
After Marta popped it Alissa was fine for one moment just reading her book and then she stopped and looked at us and said she was going to faint and it was after that, that she slumped on to the table eyes wide open and her face was so pale.
Nuria (Marta\'s sister) and i quickly rushed over to her and layed her on the floor while Marta tried to wake her up it was so scary so see someone you know to just faint in the manner that she did and it definately scared the bee-jesus out of me.
We quickly layed some wet towels on her back and i fanned her down with a menu that i got, thank god she came to after we cooled her down. Her fainting was probably due to the extreme heat and partly from the pain of her blisters.
However the resort guys took her to the reception where it was the coolest place for her to be and recuperate while we were at the bar still trying to figure out what just happened.
In the end she was fine so that was cool.
As most of us had only a few days left in Fiji we all decide to stick together and we styaed at the Skylodge just 5 mins away from the airport.
Hectic crazy day but good
Peace out
