Left Windang at 9.00am to travel to Eden a distance of some 375km. We stopped at Macca's at Nowra for a mid-morning coffee and at Bateman's bay for lunch. We had lunch a cafe on the foreshore of the river Clyde River/Batemans Bay. This is a beautiful location.
Arrived at Eden about 4.30pm and booked in the Eden Holiday Park on Aslings Beach Rd. The Park has the beach of Twofold Bay on the east side and Lake Curado on the west.
On arrival at the Caravan Park we were greeted by a very friendly flock of lorikeets. Sue quickly had some bread from the van and had them eating from here hand and a couple happily perched on her head. There was much screeching all round
On the drive we followed the Princess Highway and passed through the towns of Moruya, Ulladulla, Narooma, Bega, Merimbula and Pambula. The view over Narooma is spectacular. It was very scenic drive. Also passed by the historic town of Tilba Tilba, we visited here on a previoius trip - a very unique historic mining town.
