David's Trek Across Europe
I was starting to get a little bored just sitting in my hotel so I decided to visit the hills of Granada. The hill of Granada is home the Alhambra Moorish fortress. This fortress protected the city's inhabitants from invasion by the christians for hundreds of years. The Alhabra Moorish fortress definitely worked because the Granada was the last city to fall during the Reconquista, the Spainish leg of crusades. The architecture of the fortress is a mixture of the earlier Arabic style and the later modifications of the christians. If you add that to some of the most beautiful gardens in the world you'd get one impressive day out.
