After arriving in Gabrovo, Bulgaria I was excited to see what types of tourist attractions they had. One of the first places I visited was The National Gallery for Foreign Art in Sofia. The great thing about this mueseum is that you get to see all kinds of different diversities for the exhibitions. This mueseum was designed by an Austrain architect, Friedrich Shwanberger. Part of the building was destroyed during WWII, and it was restored by a Bulgarian architect, Nicola Nicolov. The museum was opened to the public as an art gallery on November 5, 1985. The museum has a total of about 10,000 paintings of display over an area of 4000 square meters. Once the day was over I again didn't get to see everything, but what I did see was amazing works of art.
