Aussie animals are dangerous!
We woke up early today and caught the train to meet Nicole, our friend from the Contiki tour, at Blackburn station. She then drove us through the Yarra Valley to the Healesville Sanctuary, which is a wildlife park. There we saw kangaroos, koalas, dingos, tasmanian devils and wallabies - all of which we were told are dangerous! We also went to the animal hospital to see an orphaned wallaby and some damaged turtles, whose shells they were repairing using nails and wire. It looked really horrible, but we were assured that it doesn't hurt them!
On the way back we stopped at three wineries, where we tasted wine for free - brilliant idea! Nicole dropped us back at the station, and once in Melbourne we went to the South Bank for dinner, We were craving mashed potato so we went to a well-known Irish pub, where the food was amazing. On the way back we walked across the bridge over the river, and it bizarrely looked the embankment in London.
