The almost sunset
After a bit of a lie in today we went to the beach for a couple of hours and when it got too hot we went to the bakery in town to buy some bread and then bought a sundae at the incredibly twee ice cream parlour. By that time it was late in the afternoon, so we walked back to the hostel and got changed, only to go back out again! Our intention was to watch the sunset at Anzac Park, but typically it was hidden by a sudden gathering of clouds. It was nice to sit there anyway and watch the sea amongst all the families having BBQs together, and we also saw a gorgeous tiny white church nearby with stained glass windows. We went to a restaurant by the harbour for dinner, and I had some yummy garlic prawns! I'm starting to settle back into travelling again now - I think being in such a quaint, laidback town is helping!
