The bus broke down at some point during the night, so we were late getting to Airlie Beach, and we didn't have any accommodation as we were going sailing around the Whitsundays that night, so we had to pack a small bag for the boat sitting at the bus stop! The Bundaberg Rum tour... We checked out this morning and then went to the rum factory - Bundaberg is famous for its rum, which we love! The tour took us around the factory, where we learnt how the rum is made and bottled, and tried one of its ingredients, mollasses. At the end we tasted the rum with other mixers like ginger beer and lime, and also their rum liquor which is exclusive to the factory and was even better than Baileys! Turtle Time! We had our first lie in for ages and then went into town to get some washing powder and some toiletries. The town of Bundaberg is very small, and as it's Sunday hardly anything was open, so we came back and did some laundry and then sat by the pool.
