Easter eggs, and lots of salad!
Yesterday we felt so awful that we stayed in the hostel for the day, and only surfaced at night to go to Nandos for dinner. We felt like those 'Slackpackers' we've read about (who go travelling only to experience alcohol and various hostels), and it wasn't a good feeling! Today we left Brisbane in the morning an travelled to Noosa, about three hours away. The Halse Lodge, where we stayed for the night, is right by the Greyhound stop, which was lucky. It's a pretty building right by the sea, so once we had left our bags in the room we walked down to the beach, and then along to the main high street. Noosa seems to be more of a family town, with fewer backpackers, and the shops and restaurants are really upmarket, which is nice! We had lunch in the food court, and I had fishcakes and a salad - I have been craving something healthy which shows how badly we must have been eating! The rest of the afternoon we just lay on the beautiful beach, and then walked to the supermarket. We caught the bus back, as it turned out to be miles away, and made dinner at the hostel - tuna and more salad! Then in the evening we ate the mini eggs Angie had bought us for tomorrow (that's what comes from eating too much salad!) and watched my new favourite comedy 'How I met Your Mother' on her laptop.
