Bed spreads and brainstormsToday we attempted to actually plan what we're going to do for the rest of our time in Australia, and how we're going to travel. There was an exhibition being shown in a building on Museum Square, so we went there and picked up loads of information and leaflets. Aussie animals are dangerous!We woke up early today and caught the train to meet Nicole, our friend from the Contiki tour, at Blackburn station. She then drove us through the Yarra Valley to the Healesville Sanctuary, which is a wildlife park. Touristy stuffThis morning we took the free tourist bus to Exhibition Street. From there we went to the Fitzroy Gardens, where we saw Cook's Cottage, The Conservatory (a pretty greenhouse), the carved Fairies' Tree and the model Tudor VIllage. After, we went to the Parliament House and did a free guided tour, which was a bit boring, but very informative, and some of the rooms were beautiful.
