Buenos Aries to Bariloche Day 30
San Carlos De Bariloche, Argentina
Day 30: 16th August Buenos Aries to Bariloche
This bus journey was supposed to be 22 hours long but eneed up being 26 hours hours. This is because we got pulled over on the side of the road by the army and they searched everyones bags and had a sniffer dog every scarey especially when the dog barked at a man on the bus and he got taken off, but after about 30 minutes the man was allowed back on the bus and they continued searching and finally let us on our way.
The bus journeys are amazing here - you get breakfast, lunch, dinner, wine, whiskey - its better than a plane journey. So the fact the journey ended up being an extra 4 hours did not really make that much difference but I was excited to get of when I arrived in Bariloche. If you look at the pictures in the Bariloche folder you will find the first few pictures are of a road - this is the road from Buenos Aries to Bariloche - I am not joking the road is straight and there is nothing around; not the most scenic journey I have been on.
I arrived at the hostel around 3pm - the hostel seemed to be nice and have a lot of people in.
