We arrived at Auntie Nicky's house just after 7pm. Mum, Mia and Nana M were already there having travelled down from London by train. The six kids went crazy on seeing each other again and getting them to bed proved quite a struggle. The next day was Flynn's Birthday so the day began with presnts and a fish shaped caked baked by Auntie Nicky. The fish theme continued with his presents including games and cuddly toys.
in spite of some dismal weather we decided the kids needed to get some fresh air so we all went to a nearby farm which has a Maze mad in a maize field. The older kids had a great time searching for clues as they tried to get to the centre of the maze and solve the puzzle. For the record the Dads team beat the Mums team, although there were some allegations of cheating and the stewards are still out on this one.
The next day we all went to Brighton. The dads took all the kids to the aquarium whilst the mums looked around the shops ( went for a coffee). The kids enjoyed the aquarium and afterwards went to the amusement park on Brighton Pier. The kids had a go on several of the rides including the dodgems and the log flume. We then had to head back and say our goodbyes before Auntie Nicky drove us into London to Nanas house where we will be based for the last part of our trip.
