We arrived at Bali Breezz Hotel in Jimbaran Thursday midday. The hotel has a nice big garden with 3 pools, a bar, a spa and a comfy little airconditioned room... So all we need ;)
After we put Hailey down for an afternoon sleep it was time for pool, lunch and a massage! Yeah!
In the early evening we headed for the beach to splash in the waves and see the sunset. And then we had diner at one of the many seafood restaurants that have their tables right on the beach, all candlelit, beautiful and yummy ;)
On our first whole day we all slept until 9 and then had breakfast before heading to the fish market along the beach. Then spend the afternoon by the pool before heading back to the beach for another seafood diner!
On the second day we had a driver taking us around Bukit Peninsula. First stop was Balangan Beach, a wide stretch of white sand between rocks with a lot of bamboo surf cafes where we had coffee and fresh coconut.
Then to a coffee plantation where the LopiLuwak coffee comes from. It's made from beans that have been eaten and digested by catlike animals.
Afterwards we had lunch at the famous Single Fin Cafe, high over Uluwatu surf break and went down to Suluban Beach which is more a cave access to the waves.
Then we visited Uluwatu Temple together with a million chinese tourists. The temple was not so special but oh these views!! And: Hailey did her first step by herself here!
Last stop was at Padang Padang Beach in a cute little cosy bay, perfect for a swim.
Hailey did soooo well all day, even though she's a bit confused about all the strangers that start screaming like schoolgirls at a boyband concert when they see her. And they all want to touch her, hold her and take pictures with her. If we got a Euro for every time we could easily afford diner ;)
After a morning walk around the market we just spend all day by the pool relaxing. And in the evening again to the beach for a walk and fish diner, which got interrupted by heavy rain.
Tomorrow we're off to the next destination...
