On Thursday we drove all the way along the coast to Amed, a fishing and diving village on the east coast.
From here we can see the highest mountain, Mt. Agung for the first time, and due to it being a volcano, the beaches are black here too!
Our home are the Classic Beach Villas, cute bungalows all made from recycled wood, especially of course old boats. Nice pool and two bars within babyphone reach ;) all directly at the beach!
The afternoon we spend with lunch at the beach, pool and a walk all along Amed Bay and in the evening we had a really good diner at popular Warung Enak.
On Friday we took a trip to Tirta Gangga, a water palace in the mountains. Several pools and ponds, bridges and huuuuuge kois. Nice to walk around and have a second breakfast!
Also on the way we had beautiful views of the rice fields again... Can't get enough of that!!!
