While this day was chilled out, it was far from uneventful. Another morning where we woke up on the train after approx 10.5hrs of travel. While we both managed to 'sleep' for the majority of it, this was a piecemeal form of sleep, with announcements over the PA system and movement of the carriage on the tracks meaning we never really got a deep sleep. On arrival in Da Nang, we jumped straight into a cab for the journey to Hoi An, which took about 40 minutes. We deposited our bags at the hotel and then went for a wander....

Second and last day in Nha Trang did not start with a bang. We were finally allowed to sleep in and then had a buffet breakfast at the hotel. Then it was beach time until 11ish when we had to return to the hotel to check out. Book shop hunt, followed with a light lunch at the Sailing Club, more beach time and then lots of beers at the Brewhouse on the beach and three cigars for Matty :-o boarded the train at 9ish headed for the tailoring capital of SE Asia!

Our train pulled up to Nha Trang station at approximately 5.35 this morning. Van managed to get about 5 hours sleep on the 6.5hr trip, with Matty only getting three due to his Jo Nesbo book being exciting as well as thinking about adventures to come such as paragliding! Day 6 This one will be short and sweet. Van had stomach problems early in the morning and basically ruled us out for the whole day. Managed to extend our stay in the hostel till 5pm which was lucky. Matty went for a walk in the morning to get some legal drugs and then we both rested till 5. Checked out of the hotel, had a drink out the rooftop bar at Caravelle Hotel, ate dinner, shopped a little and boarded our train for an 11pm departure. Matty was over the moon...
