So, before I wrote the last blog entry I was feeling like I'd bore whoever read this. Well have I got news for you.
The alternator broke! CJ flashed the high beams at one point and the radio which had been blasting shut off. The lights were flickering and we hoped it was only a battery issue...but alas, it was not, and here we are in Mishawaka, Indiana.
There is a banner at the MIDAS that says, "Road trips begin here!" Apparently they do, and now its an adventure. I never got to elaborate in my earlier blogs, but this feeling of uncertainty is just what I needed: to step out of my comfort zone. I've already learned a lot too! Like, what an alternator is and why it's important! Also, today we saw this guy driving an old car who MUST have driven through a time warp, because he was clad in 60s attire. Checkered button-up, cardigan around his shoulders, aviators, and beef jerky in his mouth. Crazy cool looking.
I said that I must be reincarnated, because I seem to have an obsession with old things. Then, we realized that was a huge pun. Re-in-CAR-nated. Woah! haha
Now I'm off to walk to the Best Buy to get a phone charger because I forgot one.
