I'm sorry I am combining these two days but life on the ship has finally has become a regular schedule so days are not as exciting as the first few. The food is really getting old and almost making me sick now to the point where I don't want to go to meals...and for me that's a big deal. Don't worry mom I promise I am still eating though, you know me. Classes are going well, there is just a lot of reading to be done in preparation for each class, about 50 pages a class which adds up fast. I do not have classes tomorrow, Thursday because it is A day and Friday is Neptune day so the entire ship has off! And yes I am going to shave my head for all those who were wondering (I am more brave than Allison was). They told us tonight is the last night to see the north star because tomorrow night it will be below the horizon as we cross into the Southern hemisphere. We get a "dean's memo" everyday that tells us important updates, meetings and just news on the ship in general. One of the announcements was for us to watch how the water spins as it goes down the sink, and then compare it to how it goes down once we cross the equator. Will it be different? I'll keep you posted. It's very strange to think that we are right off of the coast of South America now sailing south to Brazil. Looking out over the water makes it seem as if we were still sailing close to home.
