Welcome!
Ok, ok, so I whimped out. I could no longer stand the smell of the bat guano and we have moved! It's a bit of a drag because we have to pack EVERYTHING back into the tortoise and then unload EVERYTHING and make a 'house'....repeat as necessary.
Anyway, the guano isn't quite as bad here, and the research continues. I put more images in the photo album that include some of the little creatures I've been shooting and we've been researching. Not too exciting for some, but for those that it is, hats off to ya. We finally found, as you'll see, one of the very important tiiiiiiiny pollinating wasps of the fig tree Ficus sycomorus. Yeah for small favors-ha. Things are trudging along slow and steady.
Steve thought it quite amusing that I nearly injured myself...again. You'll have to ask him about a recent house boat trip-anyway -so we opted to stay in a chalet to get some relief from the guano and the accomodations are quite small. We've managed to cramp all our stuff into the tiny place. As I was trying to go through the door that was proped up by our heavy exercise weights carrying an armload of even more stuff, my butt hit a binder on the table which gave me a start. I then hit the door bumbling and the weights fell over crushing my toes. Haahaaha....no help from Steve just hysterics, yet again. Me bitter, never.
We tried cooking leg of lamb last night on the BBQ. It took quite a while so by the time we ate we had puzed a couple bottles of wine. So I'm going to rest my weary head now. Tata and trudge on....
