We´ve now flown from Lima to Cusco up in the mountains and it is COLD! Ok so the rest of yesterday was spent wandering along the cliff-front in Miraflores.  We saw a few people doing paragliding and we're quite tempted to give that a go once we reach the Sacred Valley in Cusco.  For lunch we ventured into a modern-looking fish restaurant at the top of the cliffs. Ok, well finally made it to Peru! The journey was something else! 12 hours on a plane is not my idea of fun! However there were a few highlights including the comedy security staff in Heathrow as well as coming into Lima over the Andes. Hey everyone, this will probably be the last journal entry now before I go. I've had all my injections now and just getting the last few things together ready to go - lots of drugs, clothes, etc. I have two weeks now to get everything sorted...scary stuff!
