Turkey Day
6:00 a.m. - Wakeup and play golf.
9:30 a.m. - God I suck at Golf.
10: a.m. - Bathroom break dilemma. Grandfather had to sneak in the women's room while I stood on guard.
12:00 p.m. - a Miller Light. Surprisingly tasty and refreshing.
2:00 p.m. - Dinner at The Shack. No more turkey. After 4 days of eating this delicate bird, I opted for a taste of the sea. Broiled scallops because that's what everyone else got.
4:00 p.m. - figured out what I'm thankful for. The obvious we know... Family, friends, health, to those that fight for our country, to have food on the table. But a good answer is that I'm thankful for being in the playoff hunt in fantasy football, that everything I need is in walking distance because my car is a piece of s***, and that I'm not severely overweight this year.
5:30 p.m. - Romo is so soft.
7:00 p.m. - attempt to go to bed because...
2:00 a.m. - Wakeup head to the airport.
4:45 a.m. - first Cinabon experience.
6:10 a.m. - Back to the Northeast.
This will be my last post. I can't believe I made it. It was great to see my grandparents and I wish I could give them and my aunt more Trevor time. They're doing pretty well for a bunch of old farts, hopefully I can live like them when I get all wrinkly.
Props to my mom for being on her best behavior the whole trip. People say we argue because we're too much a like. Maybe it's true, but she's a good mommy regardless.
Ps. Guy on the plane ride home next to me is having a real Tommy Boy moment. Overweight, can barely breathe and can't sit still. This is brutal.
