Visit to Queen's Weekend Residence Windsor Castle was absolutely brilliant. The town built around it and Eton across the river Thames was beautiful.
Started around 9am from Brighton, it took us about an hour to reach the town. The entry where our coach was parked just fizzed up my anxiousness and excitement to see the town better!! I was super excited as usual.
Made two very interesting friend Tamara (Slovenia) & Eneida (Portugal). I've Spent all day with them, interesting bunch they are & housemates. I met Eneida in my last trip in Bath too, though it was embarrassing trying to recall it.
Started from rear of the castle we walked through town to the front of the castle, as the flag suggested Queen was in the castle. It is the longest occupied castle in Europe and boasts a driveway of 0.5miles. It was majestic, the city was beautiful, it is everything you can ask for in a city that has been the residence of old royalties and new. Plus the absolute gorgeous flocks of white swans on the river banks just made it an breath-taking view. If I have time to kill and money to spare I will visit again this place where you feel the essence of royalty in air itself.
