Hello All, We are currently in Oaxaca, MX and have found that there is a good reason people don't walk around at night here. Being robbed is not fun, don't worry, it was only a 13 year old weilding a knife that was the size of a nail file. Being the big wussy's we are we gave him some money about 20 pesos, not wanting to get tetanis from the unusally small weapon and fled to the safety of our smelly hotel. Excluding being robbed, Tara's plane being hit by lightning and being stuck on a bus for 10 hours, everything has been great. Oaxaca is not only pretty, but it has tons of open air markets, churches, chocolate shops and great food. We just ate a 4 course meal for dinner and paid only 80 pesos or $8, at a local eatery. We have spent most of our time walking around the Zocalo and seeing all the touristy stuff we can't buy on account of our over flowing bags. We will try to put all of our photos up soon we have had trouble downloading them so far. Our next stop is San Cristobal De Las Casas we will be taking a 12 hour bus ride tomorrow night.
