The land of Macaroni and Berlusconi is way behind us now. We got the most horrible pizza ever in Como, we were threathened with polizia by an 'alloggio' receptionist for asking a valid and reasonable question over some 2 euro. We also made a restaurant owner cry like a wee baby suckling over not wanting to sit in his 'fresh' table in the sunny spot at +30C heat. That was so ridiculous. We couldn't afford to buy a Ferrari.
