Early start this morning to make the journey from Niagara to Buffalo airport. Saturday 7th, sun is with us Holiday Inn breakfast and out the door. Objective - get to CN Tower before the locals wake up! The plan worked and we made it up to the main viewing area. What a view! On the train today - heading south to Toronto& really liking this means of transport. Early start and aside from idiot taxi drivers, the rail process & journey was brilliant. Orderly ex Montreal, clean train and comfortable 5 hrs in the seat. Passed some great scenery of farms and countryside. Skirting the inland ocean of Lake Ontario, water as far as you can see to the horizon. Made several scheduled stop along the way and enjoyed it - so much better ...

Last day in Montreal, what to do. TB and I head down to Bfast whilst the girls finish getting ready. Really nice coffee (un cafe svp). The girls soon joined us and we gained sustanance. Plan - um yep??!! Leave hotel and let's try to find the lookout overlooking the city. We realize that was going to be a long walk without a car. A late night with a belly full of pizza = a good nights sleep. A bit late moving this morning, was about 10am when we made it to breakfast. Lovely cold buffet with definite French tones. Great start. Out into the cool with map in hand and we are off into Montreal. Up to Rue St Catherine to get bearings.
