Early start this morning to make the journey from Niagara to Buffalo airport.
The booked car was prompt and crossing the border was pain free - amazing what happens when you are the only ones in the queue.

Buffalo check in was easy and only a small wait at gate. The short plane journey was very bus like - ask the girls about the blue chips.....

We have worked that taxi drivers around the world can be either really good or really really poor. Sadly today we got an average one that hasn't done the customer service course.
Anyhow we made it to the hotel but too early for room to be ready. Credit given as we were offered breakfast which was welcomed. After a funny people watching hour and a bite to eat, our room was available.
TB has a cold and feeling pretty average. We dumped our stuff, freshened up a bit and out the door to explore. CB happy that we have a microwave & fridge in the room - makes it a bit easier.
We have a supermarket next door and McDonalds.

Off to the MBTA station @ Lechmere only a short walk from hotel. Tickets in hand we headed into downtown to get our bearings.

The lady @ check in at BUF said we must go to Faneuil Hall and markets. That was our first stop. It seems that getting around will be quite easy here.

Had a bit of a snoop around the city, some great history and architecture. Meandering along we took a return train to our base station @ Lechmere and headed around the corner from hotel to supermarket. Had a good look around and remarked on how much cheaper it seems compared to the 2 wks in Canadia. Purchased a few things for dinner before landing back at 602.

Freshened up and the girls ate early. Off we go again joining the masses tonight for a date with the Celtics @ TD Garden. Not really knowing how long to expect with queues etc, we headed in at approx. 6:30pm which turned out to be pretty good plan.
We waited a short time before playing follow the leader up to our seating area. The view to court was excellent - yes quite a way from the ball but was able to take it all in.

Good close game with the Celtics just scraping in with a home win. The atmosphere great and the usual ceremony that I remembered from years ago. The place evacuated quickly and we joined the masses on the train out.

The system works well and is prompt & quick. Hotel was welcomed after a long day - up at 5 and close to midnight before we settled in.

Great day of travel. Must say I liked the JetBlue service
