So another week went by, Janna and Merle sadly left. I'm alone now at horfi, but it's fine, it's still fun and still beautiful work to do. Thursday is thirstsay for us couch surfers, so I went to makati just to drink a couple of beers and chat, talk about travel and stuff when this amazing plan came out of nothing; let's go to the beach tomorrow, spend a night and go back, unfortunately this trip was going to start a Friday when I normally volunteer at HORFI, but I thought maybe I can ask them to get off, the weather is getting hotter and hotter, and there would be Isaac volunteers, so not really much stuff to do for me, so I called and they agreed and gave me the day off. Friday the 6th me and Ram went together to San Juan, the surf place to be, a drive of 6 hours went by very quickly, with a lot I talking, singing and laughing. Once we got in San Juan, in our hostel, the Circle, I was amazed by the view and the setting of this place, hammocks or beds, well ofc I chose hammock, so after a short day at the beach where I tried surfing for the very first time in my life (I suck at it, but I don't care haha, at least I tried) and a fun evening with locals who invited us to the bar and homes, I slept in a hammock, it's really relaxing and I would have had a good night if it wasn't cold, yes that's right, cold, I was freezing, but it was definitely worth it. After the short night, heading to the beach again, did some sunbathing and rest of the day just laying in a hammock and enjoy the peace, writing this from the hammock actually. Going back today (March 7th) and will have a fun skype meeting with my lovely family, because, Ananya is turning 2 already!
I'm still enjoying life, and when it's hard just make the best of it, it is what it is, always, every day is a surprise and an adventure and it's amazing. Like they say it here: it's more fun in the Philippines.
