We're plodding along with work and still very much enjoying it all. It's been rather hectic since the Easter weekend. As the café is on the main road from Melbourne to Mildura it's in a prime location and lots of people travelling to and away from the city for the long weekend stop we got very busy. We were both working there on the Thursday night and had to ring Terry (our boss) to come give us a hand as we were flat out! We had swordfish on Good Friday though as Terry had ordered in loads of different seafood for the weekend. Then last weekend in the pub we had a 70th on Saturday afternoon and a 21st in the evening. It was busy but good. So it's starting to calm down now as schools are back after the weekend. Although the "footy" (Aussie rules) season has started so a lot of the local lads come back to play in the league which means Saturdays can be a big night.
We officially have 5 weeks left in Wycheproof as we booked our flights from Melbourne to Alice Springs today where we hope to book a camper and do a short round trip to see the 'real' outback, Uluru and everything else around there before heading to Queensland to see the barrier reef. We'll keep you all posted on our plans as we've only booked the flight to Alice so far.
