13th July - we met Jen and Katrina, Emma's friends from school, and went for a hike. We started at Park View and walked over a mountain to get to the beginning of the "Twin Peaks" - this was accidental as we were going to walk by Tai Tan Reservoir to get to the base of the twins but went over an extra hill instead. With sweat and tears we made it over the twins and into Stanley. It's quite a hard walk to begin with but was made harder by how hot it was! A ridiculous 35degrees. When we got into Stanley we went for a swim on the beach to cool down and then went for lunch. We then spent the rest of the day doing nothing after we over exerted ourselves in the morning!
14th July - we planned to spend the day relaxing but after waking up early we were bored by 10am. So we went to the Science Museum. It was good but not as good as I remembered. Then we went to Mong Kok to get a few things we'd seen last time and didn't buy. After some more shopping we came home and went for a swim.
In the evening we went up the peak to see the view. It's an amazing view from up there! It never gets old! We waited to see it with some of the lights on and then got the Peak Tram down. It was lucky we left when we did as it started throwing it down with rain just as we got off the tram. So after getting soaking wet we went and got some dinner.
15th July - we didn't do much in the morning and then went to Sai King for a walk around and some lunch in the afternoon. It's a nice break going to Sai Kung as its so much more relaxed than the island. It was really nice but got cut short by the rain.
