Last night was a very long and uncomfortable night in the Jacksonville bus station. But the bus to Ft. Lauderdale was right on time. The rest of the trip to Ft. Lauderdale was uneventful and I was really anxious to get off the bus there.
Finally, I arrived right on schedule about 2:15pm. I got a cab to take me to my crew house on Miami Rd. When I got there, there were 3 other guys already there. Josh was a 26 year old who was my room mate. He had a day job installing window tinting on yachts while looking for a permanent crew position. The other room had Tyler and Tee. Tyler was unemployed and was also taking some training from IYT. Tee was a French student just staying here for the summer as part of his ESL requirement. I didn't socialize too much. I unpacked and went for a walk around the neighborhood and found a Subway. First decent food I had in too days. I also found a Publiks super market and bought about $60 worth of groceries. Then, after I put the groceries away, I crashed early so I would be well rested for class in the morning.
