Hey guys! I guess I am classified as one of the N.Americans you partied with on New Years. We certainly did have a good time. The poor bar/restaurant is going to have a big whole in the fence for years to come. Oh well, we needed the wood to keep our table fire burning eh? If the former is the case which I doubt, you're not old enough, a steam museum which ha been threatening to open for a while, would be right up your alley. Dorrigo is the name of the place, situated in New South Wales inland from Coffs Harbour. That's if you're coming to Aus of course, you certainly seem to be heading this way, just follow the coast line once you cross the water. You'll be in Jimboomba before you know it. All he best. Hi Karen and Michael, Happy New Year to you both....and continue the happy travels in 2006. Bouissou - hope the pink birthday cake was a pleasant, if not unusual, surprise!! Did you get the beard for your borthday too?!? I had a very low key birthday and New Year but just enough people about so that I wasnt sitting in the pub by myself.....in fact I cant even remember the chimes of midnight on NYE but that was probably because I was asleep as opposed to really drunk....now that I'm 30 I think that's allowed.....aaarrgggghhhhh, how the hell did I become 30...
You may or may not want to know that the new year brought some mammoth changes in the business travel industry seeing both the BTI and TQ3 networks break up....big news really, but not as important when you're travelling around South East Asia.
Just checked out your photos - some great shots.
Enjoying my first few weeks of singledom so roll on 2006....should be fun.

Firstly, all the very best to you both for 2006 - I hope that it will be a very good one for you.

Peter and I had a great time back in Glasgow over Xmas and the New Year and arrived back in Amsterdam last night and back to work today. This morning the usual Dutch file (traffic jam) was non-existent and half the office is still on holiday so it hasn't been too painful being back so far - let's hope that continues at least until the end of this first working week. It was lovely being back in Glasgow and we managed to see quite a bit of Bindi and also had a dinner with Gina too. Just sorry that you couldn't both be there too.

I've gone through your photos from Cambodia and, like all other places that you've visited so far, it looks just amazing.

I hope that you are both doing very well and look forward to getting your next update soon.
