Trailor on Tour
On Monday (11th) Keren and I headed back to the airport at LA, only to discover that there was nowhere to leave luggage, so she headed off to her new hostel. She is staying in the US for about a month I think.
I loitered around the airport until it was time to check in for my flight to Calgary, which was on Air Canada and departed at 1700.
I was really surprised on the flight as we did not get any food - the first time this has happened on any of the many flights I have now been on. When I asked if there was any food I could buy, I was told that I could purchase some Pringles - nice nutritious dinner!! This was all I could afford as well as I had only about $2 US on me!
When I landed in Calgary I was met by Michelle and her friend Fiona, who then drove me back to her house in Okotoks, outside Calagary. For those of you not in the know, Michelle used to work with mum and moved out to Canada with her family about 3 years ago.
After a pizza and a couple of glasses of wine, I was shown to my own room - heaven - with a view of the mountains and into the Fire Station changing room opposite!
Sleep, mmmmmmm S xx
