Arrived in Prague and it was pissing it down with rain-not a good start. However things got better! Hostel was complete with swimming pool, sauna and a HUGE bar! It was only 4 months old and it looked like it had been kitted out from an ikea catelouge (like most of the hostels we have stayed at!) Our room (which we shared with 2 canadian guys who were absolutely lovely) had it's own seperate shower and washroom plus 3 mirrors, electric blinds on the outside of the window (amazing-they were so much fun), 2 sinks and a redy/orange land light bulbs which gave the room a very pimp-esq feel. Prague is beautiful! It has huge green hills framing the gorgeous castle and cathedral grounds, lots of little cobble streets and an abundance of pretty buildings! Anyone making a visit to Prague must check out the astronomical clock in the old town square-it will take your breath away (!) Hannah's irish boy from berlin turned up in our hostel-how hilarious! Being the great friend that i am, i accompanied her to the bar for 'a drink'. invited one of the guys with us and our one drink (i wasn't even going to drink!) turned into 2 glasses and 3 bottles of wine thanks to the amazing generosity of our roommate Grant who did not let us pay for anything....we loved him! once more, ended up getting into bed at a rediculous hour thus never making it up for our 8 am 'get up and go' early rise to explore the rest of Prague....whoops! However, a very exciting discovery was made in Prague: twister ice cream! xxxxx
