Just a quick message....So i headed to Fraser Island on our self-drive 4x4 safari with a really nice group of people.  I had a little go at driving along the beach-great fun!!!  and it was all fine and I was almost enjoying it until we hit some soft sand and the truck skidded just a little! After
that I just let the lads drive - a much safer option i felt!lol  The island is amazing though, and such a wonder - fresh water
lakes and so much wildlife and trees on an island of sand!  We camped on the
beach and had dingoes sniffing around our tents at night! It was really
special. Only dounpoint was the fact that my camera decided to die on me on the first day-bloody typical!but c'est la vie i still got to experience loads and the memeroies will stay with me forever...wish could of spent a whole week there to take in all there is to offer on the island 3 days just wasn't enough time to fit everything in....

So next stop Rockhampton...where i'll be staying on a farm for a few days.....can't wait
