After leaving Franz we headed to Lake matheson to check out the mirror reflection of Mt Cook and the Southern Alps. This was stunning (check out pics). As we moved south and inland from the coast the scenery changed dramatically. Lots of turquoise rivers and lakes and mountains. We arrived in Wanaka, a cute little fishing a ski town for another chilled night.

After a brief trip to Puzzle world 9very strange place that belongs in the 80s for sure) we headed to the adventure capital that is Queenstown! We stopped at the Kararau Bungy, teh first ever commercial bungy jump, on the way to watch a few nutters throw themselves off a bridge. the non to Queenstown for a big night out with the bus in the famous World bar where we got to drink coctails out of teaopots! random!

Recovery once again of the mental and physical hangover. but what could be better than a jet boat ride on the shotover river gorge. The lash, pete and I decided to be spontaneous and it was well worth it. The boat took us down the river, almost slamming into rocks and doing 360 degree spins! Tomo it is your ideal job for sure! Scenery was spectacular for a change and the water was so amazingly blue! another great day!
