Today we did the Athens City Tour. We got some really great photos and went to all of the most famous places in Athens. Our tour guide who spoke fluent Greek, French and English told us about a lot of the history of Athens and also shared with us many stories of Greek mythology.

After the tour we headed down towards Plaka for some lunch. We found lots of markets - some were antique markets selling lots of different and interesting things.

While we were waiting for a cab we also found the fresh fish markets so we went for a walk through just to see what sort of produce they had for sale. A few of the fish mongers were trying to guess what country we were from. He started with Italian, French, and a whole other bunch of European nations before getting to American and then we stopped him and said Australian. No matter where we go no-one seems to guess correctly where we are from first time. Its becoming a bit of a game
