Well this our last day in Rome but before that i think i need to explain the picture of the bus crash. When we were going from the port to the ferry we were going around a two lane roundabout but a lorry was in the other lane and buses and lorries dont really go around rounabouts too well so they collided. But apart from abit of a jolt no one was too hurt and we just had to get on another bus.
Today we got up early had breakfast and walked to the colosseum which was pritty spectacular expecially today as it was so sunny. we then walked around the forum and past the circus maximmo where they used to have chariot races but that wasnt that impressive compared to the colosseum. We then walked up a hill to find one of the best views of the forum and it was free. It was a better view than if we had paid the 12euros to get in. We sat and had our squashed sandwichs down a side street in the shade and fed the pigeons tuc biscuits as peddie didnt like them as they were cheesy and he thought they were rich tea. we are finding out some weird things about peddies eatting habits, like he likes anchovies. After our lunch we walked up to the trevi fountain which was chaos as there was so many American and Japanese taking pictures so you kept having to stop every min until they had taken it. We were quite tired by this point so sat down for an italian ice cream and then walked back to the hostel and had a shower and a nap. Anyway its off to florence tommorrow but only for a day so will probably update when in vencie or slovenia.
