*********As I'm sure some of you have noticed my blog has been a bit quiet lately. I'm keeping a journal everyday and an them going to put up a block of stuff at a time, with enteries for everyday (hopefully) and all my pics. Hope you're all keeping well**********

Well defo an interesting day today! We got up to get the Gahn and left the hostel at 12 for the train at 1:45, on case anyone hasnt been following we're going from Adelaide to Alice Springs - a 24 hour train journey. we arrived at the train station at 12:20 to find the 400 metre train pulling out of the station. After much shouting into walkie talkies and general arm waving they managed to stop the whole train for us and we got aboard via the luggage carraige! If we had of missed the train we would have been stuck in Adelaide for another 3 days and it would have completly messed up the next 2 weeks! NOT SOMETHING I'D RECOMMEND! spent most of the afternoon watching civilisation turn into arid desert then watched an incredible sunset over the desert and distant outcrops of rock. It was really amazing! Started reading Irvine Welsh's Secret Recipes of the Master Chefs until about midnight and then drifted off to sleep trying not to think about Irvine's vidid and disturbing descriptions of male masterbation.........
