After having a few drinks at the market last night and then a few more back in the hostel with a cpl of randomers from Tazzie, Mark, Sheila and I ended up out on a big big session last night. We ended up in the front bar of a club called discovery til the very wee hours and had probably the best night I've had in Darwin. We got up very late and attempted to do our laundry before we leave tomorrow but it took hours because the damn machines kept breaking down, very frustrating when we all wanted to enjoy our last day in Darwin! We're going back to CullenBay this evening with Veronica and Jerryto get food and a few drinks, I imagine it'll be an early night as we've to pack and be ready to go by 10am tomorrow morning.Our plan for the next 3 weeks is to drive the 4000 plus km from Darwin to Perth via a 3 day stopover in Broome. We have a 4 berth campervan, which we're collecting first thing tomorrow, to bring us from Darwin to Broome and then 2 two berth campervans to bring us from Broome to Perth. Mark, Vick, Fionn and I are all insured to drive so it should be an interesting few weeks ahead of us on the road!All in all I've really enjoyed my time in Darwin , I got sick of it a couple of times as its so small but then we moved hostel or we had a really great night out and that renewed my enthusiasm for the place. Having a beach where you can't swim I find utterly pointless but Darwin has been constantly blazing sunshine and really hot, which I'm defo not complaining about! It's also been a really great party town and defo somewhere I'd recommend backpackers to come and spend a bit of time!
