Well welcome back everyone after a long break! We are sorry we havent been more active, but the internet so far hasbeen very expensive (around 5? an hour), so that has restricted us!
Italy has been treating us very well, with lovely weather, and so far we have enjoyed the delights of sparkling Venice, Arty-Farty Florence and our favourite so far, Rome! We are now in Naples, where we are in this really nice (and cute) little hostel. It is in one of those old Italian houses that have been renovated. It is very clean, with a good kitchen and a lovely little garden in the middle (we will tryand put photoes up soon!).
We will obviously go into more detail soon about what we have been doing, this is just a quick one to let you know that we are still here and are alive and well (no more robberies or attempted muggings since Prague!).
We are off to the AmalfiCoast tomorrow to enjoy Elis birthday in style (at a very nice hotel, with a lovely view and pool and private terrace, not to mention the buffet breakie and dinner! WOO HOO food here we come - it will beat jam sandwiches on stale bread for breakfastand lunch that has been killing us, and also the open top sadnwiches that we have had for dinner the last 2 weeks... nice but i think a change could be good!
One funny story to leave on. In Prague, we thought we were really smart in buying a whole lot of pasta (1kg) for about AUS$1. For thenext view nights in Austria we still thought we were pretty cool, having like 10 meals already paid for. We got to Italy though, and there have been NO kitchens we can use. SO we have been carrying around all this bloody pasta for weeks... now we have a kitch its time to get cookin!
Love to all, Ciao!!! T and E
Ps - we dont sound hungry do we? talking about food so much, we have actually done stuff other than think of food... some stuff anyway.
