You two already look different. great to see the pics. It is freezing here, -2 at 7pm at our place. Rode over to Nanny and Norms after school via Issacs Ridge. The air was crisp and crystal clear, and because they have cut down the forrest up the top you could see for ever. Fom Mt Tinderry in the south (our place) to past Belconnen in the north, beautiful blues and golds on sunset, what a place. Dave's big 16th tomorrow. I can remember very clearly walking up and down the road at 3am with Dave's Mum wondering if we should go to hospital, a few false starts and Dave finally arrived. Very much in his own time and with a ïf it happens, it happens" approach..much like he is now. Gelle and the boys are going to a show at the Canberra Theatre tomorrow so I'll ride in and have a coffee at Hughes Bakery to celebrate his day..while he's working. Doesn't seem right really. Skiing on Sunday, the snow looks fantastic, can't wait. Can't wait to see the pics of you two surfing England style

Hi Team, Wasn't so impressed by the size of the crustacean in the museum. I'm sure the blue swimmer crab at Tomakin was one size bigger and certainly meaner, more active. and possibly hungrier. At home here we're all deeply jealous - Chris is intending to be truly pro-active and will start packing her bag this weekend. Meanwhile Nikki did a great job with the lighting at the Deakin concert performance of Caberet last night (with a bit of help from Muzzer who apparently learnt the skill from his Mum). Nikki's off to the Canberra Theatre for work experience next week - from 9 am for as long as she likes up to 11 pm ! The aboriginal dance group will be on next week so with a bit of luck she might just get to see some of the performance - othewise we might just have to go as the Sloan tribal unit on one of the evenings. Chris si still spending long hours doing her reports on a million kids - her resilience is legendary. I'm still churning out reports and spening too many hours at it but at least it's a living. Off to the Hughes bakery again this weekend for breakfast - a hard habit to break it seems. Then to meet Jim and Ella at Mawson for another coffee and to meet a Danish friend of theirs who thinks he knows me from Copenhagen days. It's a small world so maybe ... ! By the way, have yoiu guys run into anyone yoiu know yet (apart from Dave and Esther of courtse) !
Loved the piccies team. Looks like yoiu're gradually getting over jet lag and starting to get moving. The latest on the weather - minus 4 here to-night and after about 2 weeks since the start of the ski season they've already had more snow thatn the whole of last season, with more expected on the Brindabellas to-night. Doesn't it just make yoiur toes curl !!
