And here we are about to start the big ferry trip back to Italy! What an amazing time in Greece we have had! We were absolutley stoked by Athens. The Acropolis, Ancient Agoras and all the other ancient sites certainly made for a few days entertainment. We were there for long enough (about 5 days) to find the best fresh fiood market, that had a wonderful turkish delight store right before it's entrance (was Eliza in heaven- yesss!) But the market was wonderful, we got 8 yummy plums for about 1 Euro, which is like $1.60!!

Sorry- out net time is running out! But we had a brilliant time in athens, despite the smoky haze covering the city- the poor country is in absolute shiock, as you;d imagine! it was also a very social time- we got to catch up with so people we had met at prior p-laces- so that was great too!
