hello everyone!

thanks for the messages you left, yesterday we walked around Ipanema. There were lots of nice shops and we had some freshly sqeezed fruit juice- mango and pinapple!we have settled in well and today we are going to go and visit the lake (lagoa) and hire some pedalos after that we plan to go to the Botanic Gardens (jardin botanica) to see all of the tropical plants. we have already seen some lime trees from the balcony of our hostel!tomorrow we are moving to a different area of rio- Botafogo and spend a few nights there. we still have lots to see and do before we go to Ilha Grande next week. we will upload some photos soon..
