hello! hope your all ok! were well into week 2 down at ashburton!! This weekend gone after we had done our domestic chores he he, cant believe how much food we can shift, and now bread not coming frrom the cuboard anymore he he, we jumped in the car and went for a ride out so we set of for place called longbeach, well after driving for a while down a dusty shale road we came to a ford to deep for the car, i tested this with a good old pebble test and it gave a good old plop!! so we set off south o n highway one after about an hour passing through a few small towns we arrived at Timaru which was suprising large, but typically NZ it being sat afternoon it was all shut!! So anyway undeterred we went for a walk down through the park and out to the bay, which was being altered by about 6 diggers so wasn't to flash, so think we'll try there again another day! Saturday night fed up of cooking we thought we push boat out and it was pizza for tea! Starting to adjust to drinking as much hehe! Sunday morning we were up and off, first stop a town called Geroldine and there veichle museum full of old cars, tractors and other bits and pieces it was pretty intresting but not really aa day filler and Anna didnt look too keen after and hour of grey fergies he he!! So we moved on up in to the town had walk round and dinner then off we went on to a place called Pleasant Point mmm well not quite sure how it got the name but there was a good ice cream shop so after a thrilling visit we made our way home, were we had been invited to Grant and Anthea's for tea, Anthea is from Newark orginally so it was roast beef and yorkshire puddings for tea it was spot on and real gravy too!! So soon enough it was monday again Anna had day off from weeding and i was busy with me ever growing collection of broken down tractors, think word has got round theres new mechanic in town!! So far this week we both been working away got the shopping trips down to every 3 days now he he and have just had our invite to NZ tractors Xmas do!! So were now looking forward to the weekend!!
