Hi every Body,I am now well settled into my new place of residence, although it is taking a while to learn the lingo, but most people are good as long as you try they don't seem to mined. orperhaps its the dictionary i walk around with! At this moment in time i have a bit of a nasty cold with ear ache and everything its a shame i was just getting into the swing of things. i am living at a place called village vacancy's in vogue it a hotel so there are always lots of people about so that keep things interesting i have also found that it has a cinema that runs in the evening for free, infact the only thing i have to pay for is the table football which is 50c for about 6 games. i now have team mate living here so things are looking up a bit as i have some one to play the game and train with. i have a few things i want to look into while im here as there is so much going on its hard to keep up with it all. just talking to people is hard enough. i keep trying to get my english speaking team mates to talk french instead of english but its to easy for the english to slip out. at the moment i am picking up lots of French words but i cant put them into logical sentences yet, i thing i will have to get a proper learn french book or something. The riding out here is truly some of the best easy on a par with NZ the people driving are very courteous too and as for driving on the wrong side of the road i was like a duck to water, ( except at the tolls being on the wrong side of the car ect) pretty much each day i get to try a new french meal, the amazing thing is that you have 3 meals a day here and you don't have the erge to snack is quite odd. i cant wait to get back on my bike and get hold of a french map that i can fit in a pocket. they don't seem to do them here; i did find a shop the other day that sells rice crispy so everything is good one thing could make it better and that would be fore Emily to be here too, for those of you that are wondering she is fine, working hard to save so she can come and meet you all!
Till next time
Adam
