Hi everyone! Sadly, this is the last blog from Ft. Myers Beach. We fly home tomorrow. We had a great ocean day. We went to Lovers Key park and parked by the road at a small part of the park by a bridge. You pay $1.00 per person on the honor system. We got there by 10:30 am expecting not to stay long because rain was predicted later in the day. But no rain came. So we stayed there until 3:00! We walked across this bridge that spans the 2 islands. It was a a tall, curved bridge with a draw bridge in the middle. It went up 2 times while we were there. While up there, we spotted a dolphin under the bridge. Unfortunately, we did not get a real good look at him. long enough. When we got back to our chairs, some fishermen had invaded our space. HOw rude!

We watched as a sheriff's boat stopped a person on a jetski. With sirens and everything. Just like in a car only it was on water. We're not sure why he got stopped. I know they are heavily watching for drunks on the water, according to the local newspaper. I have no good photos today. I had Rick take a picture of me workng on my blog one last time. I had to do it every night on the screened in porch because it was the only place that got INternet access. (Borrowed From the neighbors!).

The sunset was not that great, too cloudy. The humidity has been down the last few days and nites, that was nice. The waves were bad at our beach today but at Lover's Key it was much better. It depends on which beach you are at as to what type of waves you experieince. Took one last swim in the pool. I love looking at the stars while swimming. WIth no bugs!! I wish I could stay outside at home wih no bugs at night.
